Mountainous trail connecting the Arrow River/ Macetown to the Shotover catchment at Strohles Flat. Not for the faint-hearted, this is a big day out, probably best tackled on an e-bike by experienced riders (you will need to carry a spare battery) and hikers only. An awesome adventure for the summer months, passing some great relics of mining history at the Andersons, Homeward Bound and Premier Batteries.Descent from the ridge off Mt Saint Just is hard to spot in places, veer left when you hit the terrace at the bottom to find the overgrown exit onto the Skippers Road. Exit back to Queenstown via Pinchers Bluff and the slog up to Skippers Saddle.
