Mountain Bike Trails in Remarkables

The Remarkables mountain bike area near Queenstown offers both challenging and leisurely riding options. The Remarkables Downhill features rugged natural flow descending the iconic mountain range (shuttle access required), while the Remarkables Loop provides a scenic 2-hour flat ride around the Jack's Point neighbourhood. Continuation of the Lakeside Trail, leaving Jacks Point carpark and heading south along the shores of Lake Whakatipu. Initially 4WD road narrows to singletrack at the first shelterbelt which winds through to the Jetty and picnic area at Oraka. Cross the boat ramp and hug the shore to follow more singletrack which climbs up to another scenic picnic area and carpark beside the Kingston Road.
