Best Mountain Bike Trails in Coronet Peak Ski & Mountain Bike Park

Coronet Peak, just 20 minutes from Queenstown, features the Southern Hemisphere's longest maintained mountain bike singletrack descent at 1200m and offers 16 trails ranging from beginner to very advanced. The iconic Dirty Four descent combines four signature trails with berms and technical features, while new beginner-friendly terrain like Whakatipu View provides 5km of mellow gradients and smooth berms. Operating December through early April with a bookable shuttle service and bike hire, Coronet Peak is a premier alpine mountain biking destination.

Insanely fun intermediate grade 3 flow trail with a couple of dropping corners verging on advanced grade 4 but only a very small percentage of the whole trail so. Also a couple of spots with some exposure but nothing crazy. One of the most fun flow trails you'll ever ride with non stop sick berms, heaps of fun safe jumps and epic views over QueenstownThis trail was a joint project with Queenstown Trails Trust, Queenstown Mountain Bike Club and Soho Properties/QEII, bringing old unused sections of trail up to a world class level. Built by Elevate Trail Building and generously funded by Rod Drury. Thanks to all who made it happen Please obey all signage and respect the land so we can keep access to amazing sections of land like this! Please do not ride in the winter or when the trail is wet/snowy/frozen. It is mainly in the open so suffers damage easily and is no fun to ride when it's muddy.
