Description

This is the main access route into the reserve. From the end of Foster tce, up steps to a series of 7 tight switchbacks onto the drainage bench at the lower edge of the reserve. Then across the field on a built to spec, shared-use trail connecting the 4wd gravel halfway up the hill. The continuation leads above the 4wd into regenerating native forest, connecting to the Urumau shared-use traverse.
