Korimako Track (LPC) aka LPC climbing track Mountain Bike Trail

Recently surfaced and upgraded gravel in 2024, this is the primary access track up to Urumau saddle. Renamed to Korimako Dec 2025 to commemorate the covenant with BPCT. From the frontside hub at the top of the 4WD track where you reach a level parking area. Continue ahead onto the LPC track and up to the saddle between Urumau Reserve hilltop and the ridge that leads up to the gun emplacements and Greenwoods track. Many thanks to LPC and the Timber Export Group for providing this excellent, low angle, rider friendly climbing track. Continue ahead and upwards into Urumau Reserve to connect to the downhill tracks.
