The most popular track in our reserve: flows directly down from the upper half of the backside from Stormer/ following a series of bends and crossing the Traverse track at midway. Grommies then sidles across the hillside over a series of small rollers and down across the rock band into the obvious 180 degree berm. Now the built features ramp up with a series of optional steps, kickers, and drops. Careful of the marked 'Optional Log Drop' as the only feature which is not roll-able, but does have a ride around. Last bit crosses two gulleys with a fairly large G-out, before connecting up to the climbing track.

Now shared as an uphill exit from SloaneStar, this is the Original entrance to the track, before the top half was joined on. Reinforced armour section over the tree roots in 2024.

Jackasaurus starts at the top of the Urumau Reserve hill and descends the ridge, dropping over large rock drops you can roll or huck, to meet the traverse track. Eventually, once it's open, this track will continue down the ridge to meet Sumner road.

Recently surfaced and upgraded gravel in 2024, this is the primary access track up to Urumau saddle. Renamed to Korimako Dec 2025 to commemorate the covenant with BPCT. From the frontside hub at the top of the 4WD track where you reach a level parking area. Continue ahead onto the LPC track and up to the saddle between Urumau Reserve hilltop and the ridge that leads up to the gun emplacements and Greenwoods track. Many thanks to LPC and the Timber Export Group for providing this excellent, low angle, rider friendly climbing track. Continue ahead and upwards into Urumau Reserve to connect to the downhill tracks.

Originally hand dug as a climbing trail, now that the low angle benched track across LPC land has been built, this track will no doubt become a popular, easier down track. Otherwise, ride it up for a slightly steeper, faster way to get close to the top. Regardless of the direction you travel, half-way you'll encounter the reverse-loop-corner. Enjoy

A fun intermediate track. Take an alternate route down bikers left of the first rock drop where it splits off Jackasaurus and meets it again just before the traverse track, we plan to give its own start, own finish and a decent name at some stage. It's fun little section featuring some nice single track, an S-bend bermed corner and the booter berm. Merges into Grommies as you cross the Urumau Traverse track at midway.

An old walking trail you can ride down, if you can see the line. Super drifty in the pine needles, super fun
