Kereru Mountain Bike Trail

Start at the paragliding launch site at the antenna and follow the steep firebreak down to the west. The first half is not the best and is slippery when wet and there is also gorse. Last year a significant amount of the gorse on the firebreak had been cleared, but you will still feel some on your legs and hands.Halfway down it becomes a technical, steep, narrow single track. Handlebars will just fit in between the trees. The track meets up with Morepork (https://www.trailforks.com/trails/morepork/) just after the flat section on this track.
