A popular trail to session, fun small-medium size jumps at the top of Cog Wild that lead into a nice cruise through the young pines to the lower half of Cog Wild. In the lower half of the trail there are a couple berms and jumps, the trail leads out to the main trail junction of Boost/Crank/Rakehead/Cog Wild. All features have a ride around option and this trail can be ridden in both directions but is primary downhill.

Entrance gap jump feature on Crank has a ride around option, as well as the jumps at the bottom. Crank is a nice winding trail through the young pines. At the trail intersection at the bottom of Crank you can keep right and go into a jump section or keep left and return to the midway point of Rake Head.

Dropper has been rebuilt in 2023, and the OG drop still remains after logging This trail has some of the more advance features in Uenuku Pines MTB Park. Always ride within your ability level and scope out features before riding! There are ride around options along the features on this trail but caution is needed and a few steeper sections between features.

Loose Chain was built in early 2023 and is a pump track inspired trail. A good trail at Uenuku Pines MTB Park to lap multiple times to learn and practice basic pumping and jump skills. Cruise down Loose Chain and keep both wheels on the ground or have fun on the smaller jumps and rolls, a few sections of small rolls that can be doubled.

New addition to the Mountains to Sea network of trails following much of the Marton Sash and Door timber tramline. This trail is still in development so don't expect it to be perfect. There is a short section where you must carry your bike over the main trunk railway line then ride along SH4 for about 200m. When the trail goes into the Uenuku Pines area it becomes indistinct due to the logging (in 2021). A small amount of bike carrying will be necessary to connect two new forestry roads. Best ridden anti-clockwise.
