Marton Sash and Door Mountain Bike Trail

New addition to the Mountains to Sea network of trails following much of the Marton Sash and Door timber tramline. This trail is still in development so don't expect it to be perfect. There is a short section where you must carry your bike over the main trunk railway line then ride along SH4 for about 200m. When the trail goes into the Uenuku Pines area it becomes indistinct due to the logging (in 2021). A small amount of bike carrying will be necessary to connect two new forestry roads. Best ridden anti-clockwise.
