Section 4/5 - Railway (Tamihana Park) to bridge 1 - Across Mangawhai Creek Mountain Bike Trail

Section 4 (COMPLETED)Length - 250m Construction type - Compacted metal 19 JULY UPDATE: Repairs have been completed and this plus sections 5 and 6 officially opens 20 July, 10am at the end of Lynley Park Drive. This section begins at the new Tamihana Park and runs along the base of the railway embankment, ending at bridge 1 at the Mangawhai Estuary. Section 5 (COMPLETE)Length - 50m Construction type - Concrete path on bridge19 JULY 2019 UPDATE: The bridge is being formally opened 20 July 10am at the end of Lynley Park Drive. Safety fencing/handrails at each of the bridge approaches will be completed by mid August.
