Pirates Mountain Bike Trail

Hand-built by Hunter in the native section of the Maraetai forest and opened on January 2024.Most likely the steepest track in the forest. It is short but very steep. Starts with an off-camber section into a drop. If you can ride this you can get down the rest of the track.The bottom section is very well built with creative use of very steep off-camber corners into fun little berms.Finishes on the bottom of ShipwrecksAvoid if its wet.
