Pavlova Mountain Bike Trail

Steep, feral downhill trail through remnant native bush. Solid grade 5. Top section is sketchy and Morepork-esque, bottom section has some rather awkward drops. Still steep, we promise. Multiple line choices in a few sections, nothing is easy. Not for your gran unless she's keen as. XC bikes are a bad idea.Ends with three drops. First one is natural and rollable. Second one is BIG and optional between two trees, on the right after the first drop. "Easy" line to the left. Landing is dodgy on this drop, so scout first and do not attempt unless very sure you can clear. Third drop has no easy line but is rollable if done right.Info for walkers: Not an easy walk by any stretch of the imagination. Very steep sections, some scrambling needed. Best in the uphill direction, as it's easier to see bikes and you're less likely to slip.
