Maul Mountain Bike Trail

Motorbikes can only ride in Riverhead Forest at a sanctioned Waitemata Motorcycle ride. No riding at any other time.Horses have been riding the upper half. The lower half has some hills that may not suit horses. Look before you ride.Mountain Bikers:Cross country track so that you don't have to use the road. Not groomed, however the WMCC has put a ride through it which has started the grooming process. Riding will continue to settle the track.Cross country riders should enjoy this track, e-bikers will.
