Description
Sweet technical forest singletrack along the western side of Lake Kaniere. At its southern/eastern end the track rises part way up Mt Upright/Te Taumata o Uekanaku, making for a sweet technical descent in each direction. A lookout over the lake is offered part way up the lake side of the climb.Highlights include the track touching the lake edge, and stunning forest and lake views.The track is a mixture of intermediate and advanced riding with a short section of expert, grade 5 track near the southern end.
