Description

While marked on google maps as a connector from Grenada North to Horokiwi Rd (to then get to Belmont Regional Park) as an uphill (west to east) no horse iron, alloy, or otherwise should bother with this one unless you like pushing said horse up steep stretches and getting scratched by the occasional gorse sprouted along the trail. Other than that some pleasant sections & views. Going east to west likely still many segments of walking your bike (downhill).Try heading up Takapu Rd instead for direct access to Belmont Regional Park. Per google maps conceivably there's a friendlier way down to Woollaston Way, perhaps via Jamaica Dr connecting to Havana Rise through a reserve access but if you can connect to Havana Rise then you can get to the Grenada Grinderton trail anyway.
