Boderline is a high speed, technically challenging piece of singletrack. Hand built by BAMBA as the first trail following the loss of existing trails in the felled Danzig pine block. It is a mix of flowing trail, drops, exposed roots, rocks and banked turns. Lots of sustained steep sections with compulsory technical lines, minimal pedaling required. The clay trail surfaces makes for extremely slippery conditions when wet. However, it dries quickly on a fine day on account of the trail's exposure to sun and wind.

A lovely piece of single track through a protected part of Belmont Regional Park. Nice flowing runs with some small drop offs and tight turns. The final few hundred meters are a series of sweeping banks with nice jumps. It is a clay surface though and in the wet it can be very slippery. The height of the trail means it can get moisture when it's not raining on the valley floor so it can be wet. The trail is sheltered and can take a while to dry up. Upper section and lower sections are slippery when wet.

Tight twisty trail descending from Horokiwi Road to the Horokiwi Bridleway. There are are a few places where there are alternate routes, such as in the first 3rd where they quickly rejoin the main line, however about half way down where you exit the bush into a grass field there is a major split in the trail. Left is longer and provides some much steeper grade 4 sections, however going straight is more like a grade 3. Due to the tight, rooty, and sometimes off-camber nature of the trail riders should be very careful in wet conditions.

This is another connecting track between Hill Road and The Old Coach Rd Hill Road useful because it provides additional options for loops within the Belmont Regional Park. Most of the track is across open paddock or grassy farm road. And alot a lot steeper climb than the other connecting 4x4 further north which this track starts/or ends at dependinh on your direction of travel. The track can cet bumpy due to the Cattle hoof holes, and is easier during summer when things had dried out. This is a North/east facing slope so wont dryout as quickly as your west facing slopes. Rather than taking the right turn of the track(in the above map) you can also keep of climbing up to a lookout next to a power transmission pylon or via north before the Lookout and hit the Old Croach Road a little further souith of the above map end point.

While marked on google maps as a connector from Grenada North to Horokiwi Rd (to then get to Belmont Regional Park) as an uphill (west to east) no horse iron, alloy, or otherwise should bother with this one unless you like pushing said horse up steep stretches and getting scratched by the occasional gorse sprouted along the trail. Other than that some pleasant sections & views. Going east to west likely still many segments of walking your bike (downhill).Try heading up Takapu Rd instead for direct access to Belmont Regional Park. Per google maps conceivably there's a friendlier way down to Woollaston Way, perhaps via Jamaica Dr connecting to Havana Rise through a reserve access but if you can connect to Havana Rise then you can get to the Grenada Grinderton trail anyway.

Various length circular rides are possible by crossing different bridges. Until recently this section was a dead end on the true right of the river unless you wanted to venture on to SH2. The new Manor Park Trail means you can now go from Kennedy Good to Silverstream Bridge on this side.
