Boobies/Wayne's samething Mountain Bike Trail

This trail is very popular with motocross riders and as such is publicly acknowledged as a route (see http://arac.org.nz/assets/Downloads/akatarawa-tracks/GW-Akatarawa-Motorised-Map.pdf). As such the trail is extremely rutted, and some of the ruts will swallow your bike. The surface in the upper parts is clay and slippery, the lower is firmer and not so rutted. But towards the end is a forest of toetoe with a tendency to cut anything exposed.
