Best Mountain Bike Trails in Waitawa Regional Park
Located 50km from central Auckland on the south-eastern coast, Waitawa Regional Park offers family-friendly mountain bike trails with a good range of skill levels through former pine forests and regenerating native bush. The park features four main loops - Kotare, Kereru, Puweto, and Piwakawaka - with the Puweto Loop being a challenging 9.5km route featuring a steep 212m climb.
