Best Mountain Bike Trails in Silvan Forest
Silvan Forest is a 170-hectare private forest near Richmond with over 30km of single-track trails offering free 24-hour public access and grades 2 to 5 riding. The park features unique terrain with macrocarpa, eucalypt and native bush, providing a distinctive riding experience different from other Nelson trails, with the Alpha climbing trail and various flowing descents like Peoples Choice and Ari Mahoe. Dogs are not permitted due to the thriving Weka population.
