Bam Bam

BAM BAM is reborn. An addition of 800 mtrs to the old track that was damaged by forestry operations, Still a great flowy downhill with more berms corners and fun.

Barneys Bridge

Short Connector over the stream from the Flintsones area to the main trail area.

Basil Balls

Nice grade 3.5 track that winds its way down into the valley containing Kahupungapunga. Some good berms, jumps and a very good rock face feature.

Bedrock Rise

Easy up and down track. The old exit trails of Yabba Dabba and Bam Bam have been decommisioned due to logging damage. Take it easy on the descent and look out for others coming up.

Blackberries Revenge

Easy flowy downhill.

Chemical Bro's

Starting off, A mainly easy track with some jumps-drops. A small section of tight corners and narrow steep downhill.

Colins

Easy start through the new forest area, a technical steep descent through the larger trees.

Cumin Quik

Solid Grade 5 descent with sharp steep drops at the top, transitioning to a technical single track under a rock face and finishing with multiple jumps in the valley to finish.

Curry In A Hurry

Curry in a Hurry starts with a flat section with table tops, then into a series of big switch back berms down into the valley, finishing with a straight descent that includes a technical jump and more table tops.

Danger MOUSE

Good Descent with some challenges for an intermediate rider, a good selection of jumps with options to miss. It joins onto Go go Gadget about 2/3 of the way down so look left as you join.

Fred Flinstone

Ginger Cougar

This track flows down from the ridge around a huge rock face and flows nicely into the gully floor. A nice shade of ginger and plenty of tricks up her sleeve to bite the unsuspecting rider. She lays on a north facing slope so will always be warm and have no drainage issues.

Go Go Gadget

Easy descent, starting at the top of Cougar road, it descends down under a rock formation, it crosses the lower section of Cougar Road and into the area that was Go Go Gadget before the forestry operations of 2018 destroyed the old trail. The new trail runs slightly higher than the old version to take advantage of some good flowy track down to emerge opposite Humpty Dumpty.

Humpty Dumpty

A steady climb for the first half, nice switchbacks up to the summit with a safe moderate descent.

Jack and Jill

Easy climb up to the Jungle Junction. Created by Southstar Trails in 2019.

Kahupungapunga

A new track built in 2018. A steady climb up to the top road, finishes with some tight switchbacks.(Pronounced - Car Hoo Poon Ga Poon Ga)It is traditionally recorded that one of the great fighting chiefs of the Ngāti Kahupungapunga, Tokoroa by name, was slain by Ngāti Raukawa during the siege of Pōhaturoa.

Maber Mile

Master Blaster

A long G3 track that combines some fast descents with climbing back up to ridges, good views of other trails while the trees are low.

Old Spice

An easy entrance and exit track into or out of the Spice valley. This track can be useed two ways so keep an eye out on the blind corners for runners and riders.

PJs Pride

The last of the original Cougar park tracks, we lost half of it through the logging of 2017. A old style track with two steep descents and one sharp climb.
