The Cookie Crumble Ridge. The marbley native dirt on this trail makes the off-camber sections real fun. Combined with heaps of flowy berms are your only concern the surrounding. As the speed goes up, the trees come closer and closer to your handlebars. Watch out People tend to hug trees up here before! One of the new favourites. Check it out, you'll not regret it.

Probably the easiest trail in the park. A whole lot of berm goodness connected by open straights lines to pick up a bit of speed if wanted. Beginner and family friendly. Makes a good warm up lap and great to gain a bit of confidence to build up for the more demanding trails. A quick and easy 10 minutes pedal up the DH climb brings you to the start of this one. Enjoy.
Gamble

The all time classic of Cable Bay. Roll the dice and drop in into this beautiful rocky, rooty, technical singletrack which takes you from Blue Hill summit down to the Skywire. A long, full enduro run where it's always a bit of a gamble if you can make it all the way without putting a foot down. A pretty typical Nelson trail. Techy, narrow and heaps of spice. Absolute trailriding goodness. There is a small, non rollable tree log drop after about 100m from the top. Further down you will have a few different options to finish or continue your ride.

The last section of Gamble. A bit different than the rest. A spicy rockdrop into a tight left hand catch is making things quite interesting to start with. Followed by a few small natural doubles and some open flowy berms, things will come to an end quickly. Fortunately the pedal back up to the entry of the trail is less than 5 minutes and you can give it another shot. It can take more than one try to get a hang of it - perfect for a little session with the mates.

Coming off the crumbly technical aspects of CCR, lost time takes a more flowy approach to the Native ridge with steeper, committing corners that drops you down about 250m to the creek bed where you'll join onto live wire to follow the trail out. Can be loose in very dry conditions.
