Closed for logging 11th July 2022Te Ara Horoeka translates to ''Lancewood Alley''. The New Zealand native Horoeka tree (Lancewood) is a constant companion along the entire trail. "Te Ara" means pathway / alley hence Te Ara Horoeka.Te Ara Horoeka follows on from Tin Man and has been created by the same builders. Te Ara Horoeka enters a unique, steeper patch of native bush in the area however initially incorporates well built flow and off camber sections. A dream to ride. Turn left out of of Tin Man onto Berma Road and pedal a short distance to Te Ara Horoeka on the right hand side. The trail exits onto The Grunt climbing trail or drops onto lower Berma Road. Head down for the lower hub at South Road or right up Berma past the exit to Tin Man, the start of Te Ara Horoeka or further up onto Middle Road.
