Te Ara Ahi - Sala Street to Hemo Gorge

Te Ara Ahi from the underpass at Te Nage Road, along the Puarenga Stream, on a smooth dirt/gravel track. The trail then merges with the road at Froude St and turns onto Fenton/Hemo Rd at the BP Station. Continue past Te Puia, through the south car park of Te Puia and you will reach Hemo Gorge trail. This section of Te Ara Ahi is maintained by the council.
