Rocky Horror Mountain Bike Trail

Temporarily Closed due to Falcon nest on trail. Built in early 2015 for the EWS, this run is a lotof fun. You start off with frank 'n' furter, a fairly flowy grade 4 trail. This ends quickly as you cross the road into riff raff, a slight step up from frank n furter. This section contains a couple of solid root sections and drops. The further you get down the steeper it gets. Then you duck into and old streambed and you are now on rocky horror. You can exit onto Chesnut link 1 from here. if you carry on down rocky horror, you start off with some steep sections and a drop into a high speed chute, but after that it becomes less steep and it is pretty much an obstacle course full of rocks. Sick if you are up to it. Rebuilt in 2023 by volunteers and staff at Rotorua Trails Trust.
