Description
This is a loop track that starts in the trees that are providing permanent screening cover to the rest of the forest. The first part of the trail is gravelled but still has some mud during the wet season. It eventually loops to the north, breaks out of the trees into a recently logged area and the climbing begins. Some of the gradients are quite steep and verge on 20%. The section at the northern most portion sidles around a hill before you head south again on a steep climb before returning back to head north for more climbing to the highest point. You then swoop down along a ridge and then drop back into a short native bush section where there are two options; straight ahead to a drop or to the left to go around a right hand switchback. You then have a series of switchbacks to climb heading south before re-entering the forest and dropping down to the exit onto the gravel road. A good work out track to get the heart pumping.
