Huntingdon Street Mountain Bike Trail

This is a nice piece of twisty singletrack from the Tinakori Ridgeline down to the streets of Wilton. Much of the track is under dense bush, making for pleasant surroundings where it is easy to forget that you're seldom more than 100m from houses. This track, in association with some on the south-eastern side of Tinakori Hill, makes a handy commuting route from Wilton through to the CBD and vice versa.Climbing from Huntingdon Street to the ridgeline is extremely steep in places and is likely to result in all but the fittest of riders pushing their bikes. More like an advanced trail in this direction due to the steepness.Advocacy groups have been working to gain mountain biking access to the rest of Te Ahumairangi/Tinakori Hill.
