The Tarawera Road trail is part of the forest loop. It is an easy, scenic and leisurely ride along Tarawera Road. This track helps you avoid the traffic on Tarawera Road so you can get to Tarawera Hub car park and trails on that side of the forest. Please use Tarawera Return trail to get back and this trail is one-way. The open areas of this trail can succumb to frost damage, so please avoid when frosty.
