Forest Loop, Tūhua (Part 1)

Whakarewarewa Forest Loop, Tūhua trail, part one. More nice views over Rotorua. Such a gentle uphill that you don't even realise you are avoiding the hard pinch of Tokorangi Pa Road. Be aware that it does cross the purple walking track so cross that area with care. It currently has an exit back onto Tokorangi Pa Road not far from the walking trail crossing.
