West Harbour Regional Park is a scenic Auckland destination offering around 20km of singletrack and wider trails suitable for all abilities, with amazing views over the upper Waitemata Harbour. Easy short loop going around the Cedar Farm Reservoir. The most challenging part is clearing the access road climb to it But a fun little outing with some great views.Cedar Farm Reservoir is nestled between Mt Martin, Mt Kettle and Mihiwaka. Access from carpark on Blueskin Rd.

Stage one of a proposed trail between Waikouaiti and Port Chalmers is the section between Waitati and Mopanui Rd, close to the Orokonui Ecosanctuary.It is a 4.3km-long, grade 2-3 trail, climbing to 300m above sea level, giving views of Blueskin Bay, the coastline and surrounding hills.Construction started in August 2024, after resource consent was granted and Waitati landowners Graeme and Marie Bennett allowed access for the trail to pass through their property.At the bottom of the trail please park west of the Waitati River bridge. There is no parking on Chelivode St.

Fall line track down to the Sawyers Bay Reservoir. Keep an eye out for the tape flags on the trees for the route - easy on the way down, trickier on the way up.
