Waitakere Ranges Regional Park offers limited but scenic mountain biking opportunities through pristine native forest and dams with commanding views over Manukau Harbour and Lower Nihotupu Reservoir. The primary MTB option is the Exhibition Drive track (also called Beveridge Path), a mostly flat 12km trail through shaded native bush with one steep section, stretching from Arataki Visitor Centre to Exhibition Drive.
