This is a purpose-built jump line, with a series of intermediate tabletop jumps and advanced doubles along an almost 100m long straight track. The direction of travel on the jumps is from north to south. Note the line ends in an upward 'corkscrew' berm that sends you on to the return path on the eastern side of the jump track. The jumps are now diligently maintained and developed by a local volunteer group. Find them on Facebook 'Karitane Dirt', or instagram @karitanedirt. Off the southern end of the track there is a narrow, overgrown track that continues into the bush. After 50m it ends in someone's back yard, so best not go there.

Awesome trail not for the faint hearted. The trailhead is at the top of Connaught Terrace in Brooklyn. The entry looks like a driveway next to the main sealed track through Prince of Wales Park. Walk to the back of the grassy knoll and look for the gap in the bush. If you can't ride the first two corners it's not a good idea to continue.

Also known as the Yellow Track. Great extension after Wharangi sidle. Wide track which descends down to the (optional) historic reservoir. From there onto the information site. From there a long pinch up to the Kōiwi Tohorā.From their website "This loop track encompasses most of Manawa Karioi. Its name refers to the home fires that symbolise a group’s title to land through continuous land occupation."

Track is a series of berms at the start then riders can either split onto the Karitane Dirt Jumps or continue further down the ridge on riders right on a downhill style track with some gap jumps taking you to the bottom jumps. Track splits before the bottom jumps, riders have the option to hit a step down into a large step up, or an easier line into a smaller step up.
