Not like anything else in the region, with 14 bermed switchbacks and many other bends, berms rollers and tables it is sure to live up to its name and be a blast Blaster was originally designed to be the "final blast" trail three of three in the lookout descent from the top of Utiwai. Sadly not like the sign suggests on Utiwai, the two sections above are not under construction as of yet despite being walked over by council staff with the ecologist happy with the placement in the scenic reserve.

Lower Crash Palace is a great section of trail with a handful of stand out features. It starts off with a small drop in where it then plunges down into a singletrack section leading you into "The Drop". There is a chicken line around as it is a substantial drop. The Drop rides well and is roll-able if you are brave. Best check it out if you haven't done it before It gets great raves by expert riders for technical thrills, which include drops, off-camber, roots and clay

The Doctor, named after DoC (Department of Conservation) This trail is in a mix of exotic, native and open landscape. Build with funds from the Outdoor Recreation Consortium, which helped Mana Cycle Group to fell wilding pines and replace the damaged walking trail with a suitable multi use trail that is now The Doctor. In winter 2016 the Mana Cycle Group (MCG) held a planting bee in effort to regenerate the native forest to the area that used to host exotic pesty pine trees. So if you see someone from DoC or MCG on your travels, don't forget to show your support for the outstanding work
