Located north of Auckland between Takapuna and Whangaparāoa, Okura Bush Scenic Reserve protects regenerating kauri and podocarp forests along the Okura River estuary. The reserve features the Ōkura Bush Walkway (currently with access restrictions due to kauri dieback disease) and offers walking and cycling opportunities through coastal forest and past historic sites like Dacre Cottage.
