Mountain Bike Trails in Matipo Park

Matipo Park in Whanganui is a recreational reserve featuring 11 mountain bike trails through a mix of native and exotic forest donated to the town in 1913. The trail network includes both blue and advanced singletrack options with varying difficulty levels and maximum ride times of 30 minutes. Accessible from Brunswick Road, the park offers challenging downhills and plenty of walking trails in addition to its mountain bike offerings.
