Best Mountain Bike Trails in Kaitoke Regional Park
Located 25 minutes north of Upper Hutt, Kaitoke is a base for the famous Remutaka Rail Trail, a gently graded historic rail route featuring restored bridges and tunnels. While most park trails are reserved for walking, mountain bikers can access the Flow-K trail and nearby Tunnel Gully network. The area offers an excellent introduction to mountain biking with beautiful forest scenery and manageable grades.
