Mountain Bike Trails in Heron Park
Heron Park in Cambridge, Waikato District features an informal trail network built by local riders in the wooded sections of this multi-use park. This unsanctioned but established trail loop provides local mountain biking opportunities for the community, offering a grassroots riding experience in a scenic wooded setting.

Main loop to which all other trails connect. A few roots and narrow squeezes between the trees to add a bit of technical challenge. There are a couple of sketchy jumps but all are by-passable. Gets slippery in the wet.
Southern Loop

A narrow twin plank bridge across the creek then a well defined single track that eventually peters out. You can follow the unmarked way down to the creek crossing (no bridge, step over) then back up through the pine needles to rejoin the main loop.
